Sycan River Canyon at the Coyote Bucket

Klamath Lake Land Trust recently acquired a 785 acre parcel on the Knott Tablelands and Sycan River Canyon.  This important habitat is home to many wildlife species including pronghorn antelope, elk, mule deer, bobcat, badger, coyote, gray wolf, sandhill crane, mountain bluebird, horned lark, hawk, violet-green swallow, falcon, eagle, kestrel, Lewis woodpecker, badger, and mink, to name just a few.  We are so excited about securing this special, wild land.  We now have conserved nearly 1100 acres in this diverse and pristine wilderness area.
