Conservation and Restoration of Important Habitats
At the Klamath Lake Land Trust, we believe clean water and air, and diversity in animal and plant communities are at the heart of what we value. Using the best practices of conservation easements, land acquisition, restoration, and ecologically informed land management, we strive to enhance environmental quality.
Currently, KLLT manages nearly 600 acres for conservation. We own three properties and hold one easement on a property along Upper Klamath Lake on Shoalwater Bay. We are actively engaged in restoration activities on our Sprague River property, including levee removal and riparian planting.
Levee removal is scheduled to begin this fall so stay tuned for before and after aerial photos and video!
